Woodfalls Band Concert April 2024 News

The rain lashed down on the pavements carrying the audience to Romsey Abbey, but even this wettest of wettest nights did not deter people from taking their seats for a truly wonderful and memorable evening of band music and male voice singing, in aid of the Mayor of Romsey’s Charities.

Let us be in no doubt the capacity audience loved the Band with its fantastic soloists and ability to almost literally raise the roof of the Abbey, and though we hesitate to say so, Romsey MVC didn’t do too badly either judging by applause received.

Thank you, Woodfalls Band, for letting us share the stage with you. It was both a pleasure and a privilege. What an achievement to keep a Band playing for 150 years, let us hope it is doing likewise for the next 150!
