Singing in Romsey Abbey once more during Romsey’s amazing Beggars Fair
It was hot, it was humid, but with sleeves rolled up and water bottles to hand we gave the audience, newcomers and old, a real taste of male voice singing, and we were told RMVC at its very best.
Starting with the powerful ‘Let the River Run’ and finishing with an animated audience favourite ‘Sweet Caroline’, the choir once more offered an eclectic and varied programme of songs showcasing gusto, poignancy, light and shade and strength of men’s voices.
We thank our wonderful MD Marion Maxey and Accompanist Richard Stannard, our compere Nick Grout, Soloist James Viney, the Abbey team and last but not least the great audience. See you next year!
