Our gratitude to the Garfield Weston Foundation

The Garfield Weston Foundation is a *“family-founded, grant-making trust which has been supporting charities across the UK for over 50 years.”   Its aim is “to support organisations that have effective solutions to helping those most in need.” In this the Foundation “supports a broad range of organisations and activities that share a commitment to making a positive impact to the lives of the communities in which they work, and that are driven by a desire to achieve excellence.”

For Romsey Male Voice Choir the grant offers an opportunity for us to drive forward our aims to support young musicians; raise more funds for good causes, and continually improve our singing for the entertainment of concert audiences and the benefit of our Choir members. In addition the grant will help further embed RMVC in the local community, and the rich cultural life of Romsey and surrounding areas.

“We are enormously grateful to the Garfield Weston Foundation and would like to offer our grateful thanks to the Foundation Trustees for making such a substantial grant to RMVC”

Keith Lawrenson: RMVC President.
