A Summer boost for Romsey's Foodbank
Romsey Male Voice Choir demonstrated its ongoing support for the Romsey Foodbank when the Choir’s Social Secretary, Kevin Cleary presented Jo Topley the Foodbank Co-ordinator with cheques totalling £500. Kevin said he was delighted RMVC could help once more through donations from various sources including the Choir’s Coffee Club and a recent raffle. “We know the Foodbank needs even more donations during the summer period when children are not getting school meals and parents are struggling. We are a local choir, and this is a local charity, providing excellent support to local people. That’s why we’re keen to continue doing as much we can, and we hope others will do the same.”
