A FABULOUS CONCERT WITH NEW FRIENDS ALLEGRA
We were delighted to share the stage at Thornden Hall with this hugely talented and great fun choir all the way from Newport in Wales whose choice of music provided for the audience a wonderful contrast from that sung by RMVC. Both choirs received generous applause and appreciation, and it didn’t end with the last song.
As they always do RMVC’s Ladies Group organised a splendid spread to temp the singers before they all once more joined together in song.
A great evening and thanks must go not just to the choristers, but also to the two Musical Directors Marion Maxey and Rob Elliot together with accompanists Richard Stannard, and for Allegra Lucy Filur Jones. We also thank our compere Nick Grout, soloists RMVC’s James and Allegra’s Becky as well as the staff at Thornden Hall.
