With an undercurrent of informality, Romsey Male Voice Choir takes a passionate and professional approach to its performances working under the able direction of Marion Maxey, our very talented Musical Director. As a charity we fundraise for good causes and are keen to support young musicians of the future. Romsey Male Voice Choir is in demand locally and to perform with other Choirs. Concerts are staged throughout the year so Book Now for an evening to remember.
Romsey Male Voice Choir is ambitious to be the best and to perform at our best for each and every audience. We’re ambitious to raise as much money as we can for good causes and ambitious to support the highly talented young musicians we invite to share our concerts. We relish a challenge and, over the years we have built up a strong repertoire to include old favourites and traditional songs, rock and some of the most difficult arrangements for any male voice choir. All our pieces are performed from memory.
The tragic death of a wonderful couple, Nigel and Helen Charlton, in the helicopter crash in New Zealand is a devastating loss to the family of RMVC. Words can never be enough, but the heartfelt condolences of the Choir go out to Nigel and Helen's family and friends.
Nigel was a great musician and both he and his lovely wife Helen were loyal and active friends to the Choir. They will be very, very sadly missed.
Romsey Male Voice Choir’s team of 50 members share a passion for singing and fun. If you too love singing why not find out more about us?
